Trio Tangata & Jeannine Geerts
Trio Tangata bestaat uit Jacqueline Edeling (bandoneon), Margreet Markerink (piano) en Boris Franz (contrabas). Vandaag brengen ze Jeannine Geerts (zang) mee.
Zij spelen tango’s vol melancholie, weemoed en verlangen. Maar ook met uitbundige en stuwende ritmes. Door de mooie akoestiek van de kerk zal hun muziek met de zang van Jeannine extra tot zijn recht komen.
Trio Tangata vertolkt tangomuziek van maestro’s als Piazzolla, Salgan, Pugliese, Troilo en Plaza. Daarnaast spelen ze eigen tangocomposities, geschreven door de pianiste. In 2008 won zij de eerste Choclo compositieprijs voor nieuwe Argentijnse tangomuziek.
Het Trio heeft al op vele podia gespeeld. Van tangofestivals tot concertzalen. Van Toscane, Istanbul, Minnesota, Finland en Lissabon tot Buenos Aires. Vandaag: in de Lourdeskerk op Scheveningen!

De Lourdeskerk heeft een prachtige houten dansvloer en ligt in hartje Scheveningen-Bad, naast het Circustheater.
Zee en strand liggen om de hoek.
De kerk is goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer. Tram 9 stopt voor de deur. Parkeren is betaald. Vlak naast de kerk ligt een parkeergarage.
